The good times and tunes are starting early this year! In the days leading up to Porchfest, our local businesses will be hosting special pop-ups, performances, and gatherings to get the celebration underway! Stay tuned for more.

Get ready for a full day of music, food, and community! Virginia Highland will transform into a neighborhood-wide stage, where front porches become performance spots and streets fill with the sounds of local bands. Wander from porch to porch, enjoy bites from food trucks, explore unique vendors, and soak in the vibrant festival atmosphere.

Help bring Porchfest to life! Volunteer shifts include vendor load-in, Kids Corner help, ticket check-in, and more. Check out the available opportunities and find a shift that works for you. We appreciate you helping make this event happen once again!
All volunteers receive an exclusive Porchfest t-shirt, free drink voucher, andfree festival ticket with their shift.

The main festival takes place Saturday, May 16, from 11 AM–6 PM.
Porchfest takes place on the front porches of Virginia Highland neighborhood homes, conveniently located near the Va-Hi intersection of Virginia Ave NE and North Highland Ave.

Tickets are available online for early bird pricing at $10.
Prices increase closer to the festival: $15 starting May 2, and $20 on May 16.
Admission is free for guests under 18 with ID or chaperone.
Have your ticket(s) ready for scanning at festival entrance. Check-in starts at 10:30 AM on May 16. Wristbands will be given for reentry should a ticket holder need to leave the footprint at any point during the day.
Neighbors who live within and on the perimeter streets of the festival footprint may request up to 10 free tickets and 20 if hosting a band. Email events@virginiahighlanddistrict.com, and once we verify your address, we’ll help you move forward with your request.

Yes, VaHi Supporter resident donors may request up to 5 complimentary tickets. If you are an existing VaHi Supporter, you already received an email with instructions on how to claim your tickets.

Absolutely! Porchfest is an all-ages event. Bring the kids, grandparents, and everyone in between.
Yes! Streets within the festival footprint are pedestrian-friendly and wheelchair accessible.
Friendly pets on leash are welcome, but please remember that streets will be crowded, the temperature may be hot, and music can be loud.
Comfortable walking shoes, Lazyface sunscreen, a water bottle, and your digital festival ticket.
Porchfest is rain or shine!
Free neighborhood street parking is very limited, so rideshare is strongly encouraged. A bike valet will be available at the “Field of Dreams” at the corner of Virginia Ave and Ponce de Leon Place, across from Virginia-Highland Elementary School.
Road closures will be in effect May 16 from 7 AM–8 PM on the following streets:
Barnett St., Virginia Cir., Adair Ave., Highland View, Ponce de Leon Terr., Drewry St., Rupley Dr., Todd Rd., De Leon St., Arcadia St., and Frederica St. (north of Greenwood Ave).
Music is viewable from the streets only. Please be respectful of neighborhood homes and DO NOT request entry to private residences for viewing or restroom access.
