What am I supporting?

Your annual donation directly benefits:

  • Community Engagement: year-round events like Porchfest, VaHi Farmers Market, Winterfest, Mardi Gras Fest, North Highland Restaurant Week & Wine Walk, and more.
  • Beautification & Safety : warm white tree lighting, self-watering flower planters, commercial security patrols, and other improvements on the main street.
  • Small Business Support: dedicated marketing, Owner Happy Hour events, and initiatives to drive foot traffic to local businesses. ‍
  • Partnerships & Advocacy: engagement with the city on district improvements, building partnerships (including the Beltline & City of Atlanta), and maintaining National Main Street Affiliate status.
Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Yes! As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your donation is 100% tax deductible.

How does the VaHi Supporter program differ from other associations?
  • Virginia Highland District Association (VHDA): VaHi Supporter donations directly benefit small businesses and community through events, beautification, advocacy, and economic development. 
  • Virginia-Highland Security Patrol (VHSP): Members support safety through neighborhood patrols, vacation house checks, and alerts.
  • Virginia-Highland Civic Association (VHCA): Friends of VaHi support initiatives like parks, permitting, transportation, schools, and events.
