Chris Higgins

Decatur-raised and a Georgia Tech alum, Chris has always been drawn to design, from creating public art on the Beltline to drawing detailed maps of streetscapes. As Public Space Manager, he steers projects through permits and site quirks while keeping the design vision intact. Most days he’s refining a map, coordinating a pop-up art piece, or documenting our beautiful neighborhood. Chris believes thoughtful, small-scale interventions can spark bigger connections. You might spot him around the district with a quiche from Colette’s, a screwdriver in hand, a notebook at the ready - or maybe all three.
