Mark your calendars and start stretching those dancing legs! Porchfest is back in Virginia Highland on May 16, 2026, and it’s ready to hit all the right notes.

For one day, front porches become stages, streets turn into soundtracks, and the neighborhood fills up with music, food, and familiar faces. With over 100 local bands, 50 porch hosts, a lineup of tasty food trucks and local vendors, and thousands of music fans roaming from porch to porch, it’s the kind of day you plan your spring around.

So… Why Tickets This Year?

If you have been to Porchfest before, this year you might notice a few new changes. One big one: Porchfest 2026 is a ticketed event!

Porchfest has grown into one of the most popular Atlanta events of the year. Virginia Highland neighbors and visitors cherish the music, community, and joy that fills the day. However, feedback from residents and attendees alike showed that some streets became too congested, raising safety concerns. So, with growth comes evolution.  

Ticketing funds will cover rising costs of events, a significant increase in infrastructure, and allow for more staffing, planning, and support for the neighborhood.

The Porchfest Committee is dedicated to keeping tickets at an affordable price and keeping the spirit of the event true to this year's tagline, “Music for Everyone.” General admission tickets will be non-refundable and start at $10 for adults, with youth 18 and under free with a chaperone or ID.

It’s not about adding a barrier. It is about building a better experience. With rising festival costs everywhere, every ticket helps us to:

Making Space for the Music

• Doubling the infrastructure across the festival, including security, restrooms, and staffing
• Creating decentralized zones for smoother flow and everything you need in one quadrant  
• Maintaining pedestrian-friendly corridors for more comfortable flow through the festival
• Increasing trash services to keep VaHi clean throughout the day

Providing Easier, More Thoughtful Transportation

• Offering dedicated bike valet - new this year!
• Partnering with local parking lots for convenient parking options
• Providing easy-access entry points at festival border intersections

Investing Back Into the Neighborhood

Porchfest is more than a one-day celebration. It is the largest annual fundraiser for the Virginia Highland District Association (VHDA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports the North Highland Avenue commercial corridor and the broader community year-round. Proceeds help fund VHDA’s beautification projects, safety initiatives, and community programming, ensuring local businesses continue to thrive and the neighborhood remains a vibrant place to eat, shop, and play.

• $10 Adult – available now through May 1 at 11:59 pm
• $15 Adult – available May 2 through May 16 at 9:59 am
• $20 Adult – available May 16 from 10 am to 5:30 pm
