YWCA Greater Atlanta

Since 1902, YWCA Greater Atlanta has worked to eliminate racism and empower women through advocacy, education, economic empowerment, and health and safety programs for women, girls, and their families. In the neighborhood, YWCA is best known for its Early Learning Academy, which provides nurturing, high-quality childcare for children from six weeks to five years old. Their innovative programs include Teen Girls in Technology, the Digital Skills Academy, the Georgia Women’s Policy Institute, and ENCOREplus, which connects medically underserved women with free breast exams and mammograms. Community members can also take a free yoga class every Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30 pm or rent the space for events and meetings!
